DC Improv Comedy Club - Washington, District of Columbia

Once again, we had an incredible time at the DC Improv. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service. The club has lots of seating with a great view of the stage from virtually any spot. However, to fully enjoy the experience, I highly recommend arriving early to snag the prime seats that offer the best vantage point for the show.

Good setup. There is a minimum of two items, so it isn't free once u pay a show fee. But it's a city so expect to pay a little bit at least. Good selection of drinks and food. A little lacking in deserts and cocktails. Photo is facing away of the entrance of the club

The first experience was a great experience. We went on the day that they had 5 comedians and almost all of them were awesome.

The 2 items per person is not bad cause their drinks and food are not so pricey and they're good quality.

With the entrance fee of $20 per person and the great acts make this place you want to go back and recommend to others.

Had a super fun Friday night here. My jaw was hurting from laughing too much ?by the end of the show.

We had front row seats since we’re here this night mainly to support our friend Rodney Perry. For other occasions when we came here, I preferred the high tables on the left side.

We had Great table side service, delicious bar style foods, and tasty cocktails+tea. Minimum 2 items are required to purchase per ticket holder. And no admission required on open mic nights, which is something we always want to come to check out.

There are Parking garage either right next to the entrance of the club or nearby one street over.

If you love comedies and haven’t been here, highly recommend by @WineDinenVacay .

So much fun! We drove up from Baltimore to celebrate my cousins birthday. It was "Open Mic" night, but the comedian line-up was already curated. Snd it was HILARIOUS.... I laughed for nearly 2 hrs non-stop. We'll be coming back for sure, hope to make it a regular thing once a month.

Lovely vibe. I'm disappointed in the food menu. They got rid of my beef chili. Instead substituted with turkey. I love beef

There was actually a romantic comedy stage event from Eventbrite or a DC event site that looked promising.

I was 1.5 delayed...and ended up missing it BUT I ended up with these pictures. I hear about their events often on the radio ? ? and now I see the infamy.

Overall, it's a famous place in an inconspicuous location but the street is somewhat easy to park around.

The next time I would think about going would be for a mid-afternoon or weekend event - with friends!

It is situated in a cozy and cool venue located downstairs. For each show, there is a two item minimum with appetizer prices from $10-15 and entrees from $16-25. There is an open bar, so they can make a variety of drinks which range from $10-$15 cocktails. The menu is available online when one books tickets, which is nice.

The food is subpar but I was impressed that their burgers contained a half a pound of beef. The servers are nice and the layout of the club makes it so that almost all the seats have a good view of the stage. I would still recommend arriving early if one wants to be closer to the main stage.
