This place was delicious. The soup was a little bland but all the other dishes were good. I could barely understand the cashier. She was slightly incompetent. The price was $15 per person and included cold or hot tea. Desserts were $5. I had the chocolate pie. It was okay. It needed more fatty creaminess to it. The inside and outside atmosphere was nice. A fireplace would improve the place a bit. I would definitely come here again. You have to pay for parking. $2 per hour. Takes cards or coins.

This place has its beauty, uniqueness to it with many standout qualities.
there is no place like it. a rare find, and a model space for future communities
You could get lost here with access- to the juice bar, kava bar, cacao lounge, guest speakers, yoga classes, workshops, apothecary and vegan restaurant.
The space is visually stunning and one in which you can escape the overwhelming qualities of the Austin city.

I’ve been coming here for a while- and the food quality has not improved much. And dwindled a bit over time. As a place so keen on progressiveness, I’m disappointed that the food is often a hit or miss, and sometimes is just so dull (this is coming from someone who eats a simple diet- no processed foods, fresh vegetables, real salt, using methods such as steaming and blanching) and I know that they can improve the great things they already have going for them (such as the yummy nut sauces, creamy beans, fresh pickles, lovely tacos, yummy soups) Sometimes vegetables are large like blocks, barely cooked, and taste like salt and soy sauce. Small shaping up could make worlds of difference.
The cooking methods used are exceptional- (soaking beans, soaking grains, slow cooking, etc.) Casa could step up their game to really let their amazing qualities shine through.

The desserts are one of a kind- and something I find truly unique here.

it is easy to praise the rarity of it all- however
It is not uncommon to find mold in the fridge of desserts, with no way to gauge the expiration or time they’re put out.

The space often is a bit messy and unkept (especially the bathrooms)

Ordering could be a bit smoother~ sometimes it is too complicated to just order some rice and beans, or modify the meal.

Hope to see some improvements to the meal and dining experience and quality of their service.

Overall I’m so delighted and grateful for the impeccable ingredients, message about health and the body, and to have access to such a space.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. This is my most favorite place to eat in Austin. I love the atmosphere, the food, the workers, everything. I’ve eaten here countless times and it’s always been perfect. The food is high quality, unprocessed and all plant based whole foods. I tell everyone I know to come here. I’ve recently moved out of state and everytime I come back to Austin, this is where I go. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area where you are canopied by the trees. They also have a playground for the kiddos. Inside is a cafeteria like seating area with cozy lighting. They even sell their own cookbooks! This is truly a 10/10 place.

Went here on a trip to Austin, so sad there isn't one in Dallas!! My husband has Crohns disease and therefore, eats WFPB, no oils. No refined sugars. We never thought we would find a restaurant that has this type of food!! It was beyond delicious!! Food was fresh and it felt great on our stomachs and we even had like 2-3 desserts each time ? this place is a gem, and we will be returning for our anniversary!

We went to Casa de Luz last night and it was the cutest place. Everything was fantastic! The problem is my 3 year old and I shared my platter and both of us ended up getting food poisoning later that night. The one thing I remember consuming that tasted completely off was the avocado. It tasted like straight up rotten avocado but I dished up my kid’s food before trying everything. By then my child had consumed her entire avocado portion I gave her. We had come here with my sister and her family and our family friend. I asked everyone else if their avocado tasted rotten or weird at all and everyone said it tasted like it was seasoned just with lemon juice. By then I just plugged my nose and ate my entire portion of avocado because I didn’t want to waste anything.
It was extremely dim even for the kitchen area so I wonder if that affected the ability to ensure no rotten food served.

We wanted to love this place because everything else tasted amazing and the atmosphere with the nearby playground was incredible.

I put a picture of the plate my husband had. Nobody else had a bite from my plate.

Peaceful. Birds chirping. Soft music playing. This is what I’m experiencing right now as I eat this delicious meal. Feel like I’m back at the ashram. ?

The food here is completely vegan. Some would consider it little raw but I loved it. It may not be completely filling but it is very fresh and colorful. The desserts are also of big variety and again made of healthy ingredients. They also have a market here of different merchandise items and clothing. There's also Cafe inside.

Apart from the food and the coffee the ambience is just fantastic. Very very green, the buildings are painted inside, the vibe is brilliant, there is a play area for kids & a lot of therapy rooms too

I love the vibe and I will be coming again soonI love the vibe and I will be coming again soon

Definitely recommend! This is the first vegetarian restaurant I've tried and everything was great. The menu is set daily that includes drinks, you can order additional desserts if you like at an extra cost. Will definitely visit again!
